Navigating Uncertainty with Resilience: CVOEO’s Steadfast Commitment to Our Community
Dear Community,
I’m writing to provide a brief update on recent developments at the federal level. There's still much we don’t know, and things have already shifted multiple times this week. While we may be uncertain about what will come next, we can find assurance in our unwavering dedication to our mission.
At CVOEO, when circumstances are beyond our immediate control, we focus on analyzing the situation and continuously reviewing our options. I want to remind you that we are a strong, resilient, and creative organization.
Thanks to the efforts of our staff, partners, donors, and supporters, we’ve established and maintained a high standard of service.
We are no strangers to uncertainty and emergencies. This is our time to do what we do best: to embrace our entire community, without exception, and remind our neighbors that our doors are always open.
Our team has a clear understanding of our financials and our emergency reserves. While we are uncertain about which funding sources may be affected, we are prepared to navigate whatever comes. No organization can fully anticipate sudden and drastic changes in federal policy, but when we reflect on where we’ve been and where we aim to go, our resolve becomes clearer, and our determination grows stronger.
The dedication and compassion of our community have always been the foundation of our mission. We are deeply grateful for your support and the difference it makes in the lives of those we serve.
P.S. There is a lot of confusion and misinformation swirling about the availability of many federal benefit programs that we administer at CVOEO. Please continue to rely on us as a trusted source of information about the services we offer, and any changes to those services.
A statement from Paul Dragon, Executive Director, CVOEO.
