Director of Racial Equity

 

The Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity seeks an experienced and committed Director of Racial Equity with a high degree of initiative to join our team.

 

CVOEO addresses fundamental issues of economic, social and racial justice and works with people to achieve economic independence.  Working with the Executive Director, Administration and Program Directors, the Racial Equity Director will promote equity in staffing, programs, training, and policy throughout CVOEO.  They will understand the diverse perspectives of stakeholders, represent CVOEO within our community and be committed to addressing systemic change in racial injustice.  To learn more about this position, please view our job description:  Racial Equity Director

 

Successful applicants will have a Bachelor’s degree in human services, business or other appropriate discipline – Master’s degree preferred; and two to three years of relevant business experience or community service, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired.

Accounts Payable Specialist
 

Under the direct supervision of the Fiscal Director, the Accounts Payable Specialist will assist the Finance Department by processing incoming invoices; disbursing payments and performing accounting tasks.  Please view our job description:  Accts Payable Specialist

Human Resources Coordinator
 

Working as a member of Administration, the Human Resources Coordinator will provide support in a variety of areas including: employee recruitment, hiring and onboarding, bill processing, maintaining confidential Human Resource files and systems, answering employee questions, and other administrative duties as required.  This position works closely with the Human Resource Director and Deputy Director to address agency needs in regards to Human Resources.  Please view our job description:   HR Coordinator
