Grant Writer



CVOEO has 52 years of working for a more just society and is committed to developing best practices in the field of community action.  Working under the direction of the Executive Director and closely with CVOEO’s development team, the Grant Writer is responsible for grant writing and reporting with public agencies, private foundations and corporations -- writing proposals for both unrestricted operating revenue and restricted projects and for submitting timely and accurate reports for grant funded projects. The Grant Writer will work with CVOEO’s program directors to assist them in funding and growing CVOEO programs through grant fund development.


If you have a Bachelor degree in business or human services plus 2-4 years related experience with grant writing and funding; experience with non-profit grant writing; and excellent verbal and written communication skills -  bilingual abilities are a plus; we’d like to hear from you!  This is a 40 hours / week position.
