Community Engagement Coordinator

The Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) seeks an individual to join us as the Community Engagement Coordinator. Under direct supervision of the Development Director, the Community Engagement Coordinator will seek out and secure a series of small events in partnership with local businesses annually, and work with Development Director to organize and implement two major events annually. This includes event organizing, seeking sponsorship and participation as well as promoting events through print, radio, television, Website, e-newsletter, and key social media platforms. If you have a Bachelor Degree in English, Communications, Journalism or an equivalent combination of professional and academic experience; proven working experience in events and social media; strong computer and social media skills, experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe; excellent verbal and written communication skills, bilingual abilities are a plus; and a valid driver’s license we would like to hear from you!
