CVOEO is strongly committed to protecting the health and safety of our clients and staff in response to the coronavirus. 


  • CVOEO offices in Burlington: Community action services are provided by phone or email only, effective Wed. March 18th until further notice.
  • Tax preparation in Burlington: Suspended effective Wed. March 18. We recommend  that you use For help  with the website or tax questions, please call Mike McClintock at 863-6248, ext 731 for assistance.
  • HeadStart classrooms: Closed beginning Wednesday, March 18. Head Start staff will continue to connect with families to offer support & information.



As the coronavirus takes hold in Vermont, we are experiencing a significant increase of people seeking our help. Our staff is on the front line, helping those in need with food, housing, fuel, and more in four counties. Consider a donation to CVOEO to help us continue our work in a time of great uncertainty.
