“I called the hotline looking for a safe place to stay until I had a restraining order, and wow, I  couldn't believe how fast it all happened. They met me at a designated meeting place and brought me into shelter almost immediately. Because I left so fast I arrived at Laurie’s House with nothing. They gave me diapers, formula, really everything I needed to get through the night, until I could go home. After a bath and a meal, we both slept like babies for the first time in a long time. I am so grateful for their amazing help.”
