The Crystal Family New Hope Award is an annual award that honors New Americans. Through the generous support of the Crystal family, the New Hope Award was established in 2017 to recognize two individuals’ contributions, accomplishments, and impact within the community. Each recipient of the award receives a cash gift and is celebrated during an annual award ceremony.
To be eligible, the nominee must be a New American whom you and/or your organization feels should be recognized.
In these difficult times for immigrants we must recognize and honor their contribution to our society and economy. We are largely an immigrant nation, and today's ‘New Americans’ continue that tradition, enriching our communities, broadening our culture, and enhancing our lives. The New Hope award is an effort to acknowledge that impact, and to identify and celebrate role models here in Vermont.
